ex communicated member relations📈

 Another semi wild week here in Terni Italy! Here are some highlights

- during the primary program, an excommunicated member and i made a very strong bond as he told me ... about how he got excommunicated. He's now single and took a very strong interest in Lucia (the sisters new attractive convert) so we aren't sure if we should ship it or veto his efforts


- I gave another blessing in Italian to one of the sisters friends so she can stop smoking so that was sick


- after English course, we went to McDonald's because nobody showed up to advanced. Very fun and would highly recommend post-english course activities


This is the most tired I've been in my whole life and it's been tough but the little moments make it work it🙌 like when the Brazilian fam invited you over on Thanksgiving and then randomly turns on the world cup game. Then they score a sick goal before we leave. Legendary

best camera to take pics during the sacrament?

This week was certainly a week to remember! There were 2 baptisms, zone conference and then I got to do Lucia's confirmation😎


Funny story: Lucia brought her dad to the confirmation and he decided to bring his camera as well. I never thought someone would be bold enough to bring a full Canon camera with the shutter sound to a sacrament meeting but then again... he doesn't know any better. The thought of having to tell him to knock it the heck off still gives me heebie jeebies


My companion has little to no filter when talking (without realizing it) so it was a fun conversation to tell him he can't say "that lady has a dumb truck"... especially in front of the sisters


It's been so crazy to see how faith can work miracles. We talked a lot about faith in zone conference and I've applied it to talking to people and almost every person I've talked to since... I've been able to share some of the restoration


The church is true and don't try and argue with me about it because you will lose sorely

Lucia's baptism and 5 gum😏

This last tough six weeks paid off and the sisters had the baptism of Lucia👀 I ended up meeting lucia about 2 months ago when we ate lunch at her dad's house. Cesare (the dad) comes to English course and he's such a great spirit so he invited her while we were all eating


She ended coming to English course and that week, the sisters invited the class to come to church and see just rocked up with Cesare and her daughter, Bianca! 


Her second Sunday, we had food after 2nd hour and she said she wanted the light that we had and that the members displayed so the sisters asked if she'd like to take the lessons and she was more than willing🥶


After 3 weeks, a bunch of lessons with members and a fun baptism inviterview that I could do, she was baptized😄 I've never seen anyone so excited to be baptized and it was fun to see the progress she's made and how far she will go. She asked me to confirm her the spirit on Sunday so we'll see how that goes


My trainee has brought some American things to Italy and he's given me some. For example he gave me a stick of extra gum and it rocked my world for real
