San Francescos rosary necklace📿

"I... am going... to steal the rosary necklace of Saint Francesco of Assisi" - Nicholas Cage (if i remember correctly)

I bought a rosary but it's cool because it's olive tree wood! Also we ended up visiting the guys cathedral and it was pretty sweet. The coolest part was at the end, they had the hedges in the yard engraven as "fax" hahah. Thats fax

We had a big day on Saturday with a record breaking 5 lessons and 3 of them were with members. I am starting to feel more comfy teaching on the fly and asking questions.

Not too much to report on so I'll just send all the pictures because I think that's why we're here anyways

there was a prophecy made about me😶‍🌫️

This week sure was interesting. I guess the mission is just like that!

Cool thing number one: We had a rough lesson with a fairly pessimistic guy but I felt like I was able to turn it around kinda of... so I bore my testimony of the Savior and his love for us and turned to my comp to bear his testimony (as companions do) and for some reason, he asked the guy if he could bear his testimony and the man has the guts to tell him "no." hahaha so me and my discouraged comp are kinda confounded as this guy tells him to Google translate his testimony and send it over messenger because his Italian isn't good.😬 Overall pretty rude I'd say

Cool thing number two: we found this really cool, super well educated (in the bible and overall in Jesus) lady and basically we had a lesson with her and invited her to church and she not ONLY pulled up, but also shared thoughts in second hour! After, all the members were asking how she found the church and she started caressing my arm for an uncomfortable amount of seconds and HYPED me up to the members. Also she made a cool prophesy about how I'd be super cool and convert a lot of people so that's a step in the right direction... I think

Third cool thing: I got to dedicate a home for the first time in italian and it was pretty fun. All things said and done, I would do it again

Italian for the week: che schifo "how disgusting"

too many BACI🤒

We had a very eventful Monday so I'll sum it up for yall
- in the train station, we were asked 3 times for money and when we said no, 2 of the people started making fun of us...🤨
- we took a train to Spoleto (30 minutes away) and we got canceled on as soon as we got there because it was pouring rain (cats and dogs)
- got this guy's number who said he was interested so we called him after and he was infact, *not* interested
- while waiting in a park for our investigator, a woman walked out of the woods and started saying that if she went to salt lake city, all the people would judge her...? She also accused US of judging her because she was holding a beer AND right after that, her lover friend came out of the woods while pulling up his pants🙈
- this guy (right after the previous lady) with two beers and a speaker, plops himself in the center of the park and starts blasting dub step
- after the lesson, our investigator offered to drive us home and at the exit, we passed two jehovahs witnesses and our friend started making fun of them

That's a taste of some of the nonsense we experience as missionaries but for the most part, I love the mission. For p day today, we took a tour of a chocolate factory and it was basically like the willy wonker movie. I think that's the name

Italian for the week: Vespa is the scooter bike

Jesus take the wheel, please🥴

This week wasn't very eventful but it seems like my testimony is growing and that's what's important🤸‍♂️

I'd figure I'd share a cute little story that's taken place the past few months... back in Sabina, I realized I wasn't a very good teacher (in my opinion) so I decided with the "teaching in the Saviors way" that I'd study it and grind becoming a master teacher. I prayed as well and I didn't really see a difference but it's also very hard trying to teach in another language when you don't speak it so anyways I prayed often for this.

Fast forward to now. I'm am in a fairly quiet part of Italy that isn't very interested in the missionaries however, we have lots of friends from the past so we meet often. I realized this week that we had at least one lesson every single day of the week and it's been very fun to teach and improve. Also, some of our friends our African so I am able to teach in English

It's fun to see the answer to my prayers. It wasn't given on a silver platter and magically I became a better teacher but the Lord put me in a very good spot to put in my own efforts and improve my teaching. Anyways long story short, we are very blessed and God loves us very much.
