My sister is very poetic and sent me something that says "a step backwards is still apart of the dance of life" or sumn like that so although my time with this french kid seems like a *fatal* step back, we're still on the dance floor🕺💃


Hahah jk but were getting along alright and training is just a mess. We had a huge miracle tho with p day a couple days ago! A guy started talking to us and wanted to know about our church so we had a lesson this week and he's one of the more elect people I've talked with! Too bad he lives in Norway so I won't get the chance to see him in white


Our friend from Napoli told us we could meet his family so I'm super excited and hopefully we can teach them


My comp and I were talking about following the rules (not his strong point) especially when we don't agree so I said "sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do" hahah and he blurted out "that's american!" I'm not sure why but he thinks that Americans try to make Europeans feel bad for not being so strict w the rules


He's so funny ahah also whenever he says "baptized" he says it like nacho libre and thinking of that helps me through the hard times

Whats up yall❤️‍🔥 At this point, the mission is a roller coaster with the ups and downs

Here are some ups:

we were going to so to a soccer game with a friend but he never responded to us so we decided to go to the center of town and street contact. Turns out that there was a car show! We kinda just walked around and 2 guys let us sit in da whip. The second guy ended up talking to us, saying that 20 years ago he would go to church with the missionaries and he loved the members

He them invited his other rich friend to speak English with us and he loved my companion for some reason hahah so basically we found 2 CEO's to be friends with. The goal is that we baptized them and then they make it mandatory to be a member to work for them so all there employees get baptized. I haven't thought too far after that tho

on an exchange, we were sitting in centro and this guy came up to us and told Anziano Smullin that he is beautiful and that he needs to be careful with women... he said this like 4 times and the last time before he left, he said "your beautiful... and lew... lewis... your name is beautiful" I just love compliments😍

we went to a chocolate festival for p day and it was a lot of fun. There was fooseball that was like 25 feet long hahah

Well this week was a bit strange but I guess let's get into it


Everything kinda just crumbled and fell in the area in about a week so that's not very fun. Here's some notable events:
- we had 3 people say they're not interested
- 2 people have blocked us
- the second guy that blocked us rocked up to church and said it was because he hadn't taken his meds in 2 weeks🤨
- our most progessing friend is now homeless and we are doing everything we can do help 
- my comp is from Paris


It's been probably the worst week in the mission however I'm happy to just start over with our friends. It will be a grind but thats what it is all about I guess. Yay


Good news! My companion insisted on doing family history with a member and it was dope but I don't know how to do family history so I did 2 things. 1) look at the pics of my sick family and 2) pick future kid names

We had English course and basically I just made it like my favorite show, family fued. It was legit so much fun and it's so cool to see the relationships we've built just because of teaching English and having fun together


This is wicked long but one more funny story: there was this lady (probably 90) that sat by us in the center of town. She was all alone so once we finished our work, we tried to start a conversation. Instead of looking at us and talking back, she looked straight ahead and shushed us 🤫 probably because my comp is from Paris


There's this guy that always asks me for money (I say no obviously) and so today he was with his boys and decided to act out more than normal hahah he made a gun with his fingers, pointed it at me and said "sparami, sparami" which is shoot me hahah also keep in mind this guy is like 5 foot 7 pray for him
