"can i study with you guys?"😇

What a strange week! Let me tell you about it


We received a referral from Milan and his name is Sandro. He's the nicest guy and he makes pizzas but anyways after our lesson about the book of Mormon (in the middle of my final testimony) this lady comes up to us and says "is it okay if I study with you?". The boldness of this lady threw us off so hard for a minute but we ended up talked about prayer all together and it was a fun time


Ps. We talked to the lady after and her son (like 12 or so) just showed us casually that he has 27 thousand tiktok followers🤩


Yesterday, we met with Sandro again and after we snagged some gelato, this guy started talking to us. He was this old guy from Peru and neither me nor Sandro could understand this guy so for 20 minutes he just kinda yelled at us and at the end he wrote his name (I think) in the dirt and then kissed our hands and walked away. After the lesson as we were leaving, he tried talking to us again however we pulled the classic *put you head down and walk a lil faster* move and it worked like a charm🤜🤛


Other notable events:
- a member took us out to lunch and just decided to buy my comp new shoes
- we saw a very big waterfall today
- we taught American slang to our English course and all the Italians ate it up🤣
- we get to act in a video with our favorite member

Nothing crazy this week, I just...


• Whooped everyone in fooseball with our bishop as my teamate
• ate an uncut pizza for zone conference (3 angles🤩)
• found our boy Rubio and after reciting the first vision and saying it was God and Jesus Christ he said "...really...?😲"


Terni is picking up pace which is good! Hopefully we can keep this momentum

What a week! We didn't really do anything🤗 people in Terni aren't very *accepting* to the gospel or even to us so it's been a change of pace from Rome

We get yelled at and heckled a few times this week but as my comp says in his sweet aussie accent "all goods bro"

On the bright side, we have a few friends from the past to teach so this transfer I'm gonna do two things: 

1) try and teach more like the Savior

2) smile until I have wrinkles

"Yall are responsabile for my mistakes"🙉

 This week was filled with so many big and small miracles through out the days so I'll share some of big one because those are always inspiring🤗 

On Thursday, we started English course. The sisters in the area are amazing because they basically single handedly found people and a place to do this course. Anyways about 5 minute after we started, we broke unto groups and it was one on one conversations so we could adjust the teachings to each individual. I met Chistiana! Her English was fairly good already so we kinda just talked about everything hahah from what a Nativity is to who Winnie the poo is. We stopped for a minute and said "what do you guys do?". I took this chance to explain our purpose and the book of mormon and share what is most important to us... Jesus Christ!

Long story short: she said only believes in Christ when she wants to because she is so scared of death and says she can't know whether it's true or not about heaven. I was so caught of guard because the situation was too perfect🤣 anyways I told her we have this knowledge and we can know, thanks to the book of mormon and prayer. She asked if could buy it on Amazon so I gave her mine. I told her to read Alma 11-12 and 40 and she said she was excited to read it!

Long story even shorter: she's gonna be baptized soon🥰

What a shame because I won't be here to see it because I'm getting transfered! *Good news* I'm going even more north to Terni. *even better news* my new comp is Australian🇦🇺 

This emails already thick but I got one more miracle. Our boy Marian got a restoration lesson on Friday and we left 2 Nephi 31 for him to read. On Saturday morning while I was showering, my comp yells at me to get out because Marian is calling. In the bathroom and half naked, Marian tells us that he read for 2 hours and has questions that he wants answered... now! We spent 30 minutes talking about baptism, the holy ghost and other stuff.

Towards the end of the call he tells us, "I'll do anything you guys want me to do because I trust you... but if it's wrong I'm gonna blame yall"🤣 we told him thats not how it works so I guess we'll figure that out later😅
