What a week! I've only got one left but we are finishing in style
I drank alcohol accidentally on an exchange. This lady let us in while door knocking (on an exchange with a greenie in the middle of nowhere) and this lady, before sitting down says, "what can i offer you?" So I casually say "water is gre-" as she cuts me off, asking us if we want mirto. Sounds exotic, right? It was. She gives us 2 shot glasses of purple juice and this was like the 3rd red flag along with a spiritual prompting telling me not to drink it but my curiosity was screaming "bottoms up" so what does ya boy do? I took a swig and ill tell you it was top 3 most exotic drinks I've ever tried in my life. I had instant heart burn and it tasted like listerine so I ask her if it's wine and she tells me no so the greenie asked "is there... alcohol?" ... followed with an immediate "ya ya ya".
Her heart was closed to the truth during the message so as a last attempt, the greenie says "I know God loves you" and with out hesitating, sweet old Irene tells him to shut up hahaha
She proceeds to accept the book of mormon, followed with the invite to read and pray about it, followed by a 20 minute tour of her house and it was so lit. We are good friends now
Another cool miracle was that we started teaching a woman from our English class and then this week she referred another student in the same class hahah so now we are teaching 75% of our English class
