This week was pretty wild. Some may say, this week was a movie🤩


For the past 3 months, we have been contacting every single phone number we have and this week, we gathered the few that we missed. We set up a call with this guy and I have no idea what this man is saying but what I DO understand is that he met with the missionaries before, knows the book of mormon is true and HAD a date to be baptized but covid hit. Huge miracle so let's hope this guy can get off work to come to church🤜🤛


We ran into one of our friends and bought us gelato and then invited us to his house to make carbonara hahah it was so lit. What was not lit *infact quite uncomfortable* was when he came to OUR house to make it. Haha we told him no and said... "bro, let's go to your house"


The day after, a guy from our English course invited us over and he's vegan😓 he made us salad with fake ham slices and my companion legit wouldn't eat it. Shame on him.


We got transfers and I'm training! It's gonna be super fun to have my own little son now. Turns out, he's from Paris and is half Italian so sounds like a party

the classic 'walk home for an hour on the freeway at 10:30 pm' night

This week seemed to only consist of like 3 or 4 days instead of 7 but idk who's counting. Haha although the work can be tough, we're making the best out of what we got


We worked all last transfer to build up a base English course and it's so fun to finally see the fruits of our labor! We have in person on Tuesday and online Friday and we kinda just mess around and play games and have fun hahah the students eat it up to🤣


There was a 8 year old girl that was baptized this week and it was incredible. I wish I would have payed more attention at my own baptism and really took it in but sadly I was just a silly 8 year old hahah I had nothing running through my head in those days


We had Umbria Jazz for Terni (Umbria is like state and Ternis a city in it) and it was so freaking sick. One night on Friday, the bus didn't come at 9:15 pm like it should have so we had a solid hour walk ahead of us... on the freeway... so that was genuinely scary but it's okay bc I vloged the whole thing. Anyways we stopped by Umbria Jazz for a minute or two at about 10:20🤭 hopefully no members saw us

1 year down, 1 left (more like 11 months😳)

Another week down! This was a good one so here are some highlights...


- I hit a year in the mission. It'd been so crazy to think how fast it's gone and I'm scared how fast the next year will go!


- we had a 3 hour lunch with a friend hahah he invited us over and he did the classic Italian trick where they don't start preparing the food until you get there so let's just say... it took a while to make the amatricania and grill the meat but the best part was after the food, we shared a lesson and decided to drop him😶‍🌫️


- we had a member meal and played basketball and they were no match for my bullseye shooting🎯


- we played basketball with a less active and he started to warm up and eventually he started telling us that he wants to serve a mission🤜🤛


- our ward mission leader wants us to ask HIM to text members to get them in our lessons so we send him a message on THURSDAY of the 4 lessons we would have on saturday and he didn't answer us (he sent a text to the quorum on Friday tho so we knew he was using his phone)... so we took the privilege to ask members ourselves and so he ignored us on Sunday in church and then he called us on Monday and yelled at us for going behind his back😵 anyways I thought you'd like to gossip in my life


- we put our boy Rubio on date and he was so excited hahah peep the pic of the black guy fist pumping🤣


- I'm studying Joseph in Eygpt (Genesis 38-42) and it's very interesting and we can certainly learn from the example and perseverance of Joseph through all his trials. When we are faithful, nothing can go bad. Ecco i miei pensieri spirituali

What a good week just up to our same old nonsense😈 these weeks actually seem to be flying by and I definitely miss home but I don't want this experience in Italy to end too soon


We were chillin with out friend talking about the plan of salvation on a calm Sunday until this particular lady came out of nowhere with a whole lot of nonsense. She walked firing on all cylinders and us 3 were all a little confused (rightly because we've never seen this women). She had nothing appropriate to say so I couldn't understand much but she ended up spitting on the ground and punching our friend with her fists of fury (still we've never met this lady) and so we end up pulling her off and telling her to go away. Quite the experience here in Terni


We had zone conference and that is always fun. I had to give a talk and it had me shaking in my boots🤠😅


This week I'd recommend reading Alma 22 and 24 and learn from the example and choices of King Lamonis Father. That guys a tank
