Holy cow this was definitely one of the more fun weeks of the mission😎 so many funny little things happened so I'll try to condense everything into this email
During a member lesson, I was talking about how Jesus suffered for our sins. I said "Gesù ha soffrito per I nostri peccati" but sadly I made a classic greenie blunder... soffrito is way different from sofferto. I said Jesus was deep fried for our sins and not suffered. I immediately put my head down after recognizing my childish mistake
During that same lesson, the old member man stop in the middle of the conversation and told my companion that he has a friend that looks like him. After 5 minutes of searching, he pulls out a terrible picture of the most generic looking Italian hahah
My testimony has grown of "ask and ye shall recieve" a lot this week. On Monday night, I asked this bakery we always go to for a shirt and they gave me one for free. THEN the next day after a year and a half search, my boy Gaetano gave me a train Italia tie. Pics attached of both
